How to extend the service life of fiber laser cutting machine?

      1. Good grounded laser power supply The machine bed must have good grounding protection, and the grounding wire should be applied to the ground below 4Ω. The necessity is:
 

• Make sure the laser power supply work properly.
• Prevent the machine from beating from outside interference.
• Prevent circuit damage caused by high voltage discharge. 

      2. Guide rail and rack maintenance

Rails and racks are also high-precision core components that must be cleaned, kept clean and lubricated everywhere. Each bearing must also be refueled regularly to make the transmission flexible and accurate, which not only ensures the cutting accuracy, but also prolongs the service life of the machine.



     3. Keep away from high pressure and strong vibration equipment
Keep away from high pressure and strong vibration equipment, which is likely to cause machine failure. Although rare, it should be avoided as much as possible. Such as large electric welders, giant electric mixers, large power transmission and conversion equipment, should be far away. Because the vibration caused by the walking of a large motor car is very disadvantageous for accurate cutting.

     4. Exhaust fan maintenance

After the fan has been in operation for a while, a large amount of dust accumulates in the fan and exhaust pipe. Dust can affect the efficiency of the exhaust fan and cause a large amount of dust to escape. We can loosen the connecting hose clamp of the exhaust pipe and the fan, remove the exhaust pipe, and remove the dust from the exhaust pipe and the fan. Maintenance cycle is about one month.

    5. Check regularly if the screws are tightened

After a period of time in the motion system, the screws in the moving joint will loosen. When the screw is loosened, it will affect the smoothness of the mechanical movement. Therefore we should tighten the screws one by one using the supplied tools, and the maintenance cycle is about one month.

    6. Lens maintenance

The laser protection lens, also called the laser focusing lens, is a relatively precise optical component. It’s cleanliness directly affects the processing performance and quality of the fiber laser cutting machine. If the lens is improperly selected, it will cause large laser loss, frequent damage to the protective lens, and unstable product quality, causing serious losses to the enterprise. Although the protective lens of the laser cutting machine is a wearing part, in order to improve its utilization rate and reduce the production cost, the lens can be cleaned by timing to achieve the purpose of recycling.
